Detroit Tigers

The Tigers didn’t fare too well in Friday’s game, posting just two hits in a 5-2 loss. One hit was a Kerry Carpenter solo homer, and Riley Greene had the other RBI. ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I might take a stab on the Tigers here. Probably not touching it, though. That said, if Rodriguez gets some backup from the bats, Detroit might be in good shape. Rodriguez is 2-0 in his last two starts with two combined earned runs in 13.0 innings on 11 hits and four walks. Crawford is coming off a sketchy start himself but otherwise he hasn’t been too bad lately. On Saturday Detroit had a pretty nice all-around game. The offense complimented the pitching, which was solid as well. The Tigers bullpen went 3.2 innings with five hits, one earned and no walks but didn’t manage any strikeouts. That said, Detroit has held opponents to two or fewer runs in two of their last three so they should be in good shape here.
