Breaking Down AP College Football Top 25 Rankings for Week 13

Oregon beat Utah Utes 20-17 on Saturday night. Oregon is the new No. 10 in the AP College Football Top 25 rankings.

The Nittany Lions are back in the top 15. They got there after beating Rutgers. Penn State will always have a place in my heart, but they will never be a top-fifteen team.

Washington dominated Colorado 54-7. The Huskies have been a pleasant surprise this year. They will probably finish the year on them and in a bowl game.

Utah has fallen to 14th place in the AP College Football Top 25 rankings. The Utes lost to Oregon in their previous game. Utah State Aggies and BYU have a long way to go to challenge the Ute's.

Kansas State is ranked No. 15 after beating West Virginia 48-31. The Wildcats have had some tough losses this season.

The Seminoles beat the Louisiana Rajin’ Cajuns 49-17. Florida State will play their in-state rivals, the Florida Gators, to close the year. The Gators are coming off an embarrassing loss to Vanderbilt.

UCLA lost to USC on primetime television. The Bruins are ranked No. 17. They play California Golden Bears at home on Saturday.

Georgia Tech upset North Carolina 21-17. The Tar Heels are now ranked 18th. They play Clemson next week.

Tulane lost 59-24 to SMU. They are ranked 19th in the AP College Football Top 25 rankings. Their biggest loss this season was to UCF. Next week they play Cincinnati.

Ole Miss lost to Arkansas 42-27. Ole Miss has fallen off the peak they created.   The team's performance after the first loss is what makes them climb the rankings again.

Cincinnati and Tulane are playing each other in the final game of the season. Both teams are coming off victories.

Oregon State beat Arizona State 31-7. They are going to play the Ducks next weekend. They have been impressive this season.

Coastal Carolina's match against Virginia was canceled this weekend. Virginia lost three players to senseless gun violence. Coastal Carolina is set to close its season against James Madison.

Texas is ranked 24th despite having four losses. The team is not back to its former glory. There are other teams that could take their place.

The Knights lost to Navy last weekend, but they are still in the rankings. They play against USF at the end of the season.
