College football rankings: Predicting the AP top 25 poll for Week 12

The latest college football games were played on Saturday. The next AP top 25 college rankings will be released on Monday.

UTSA is now a perfect 6-0 in conference games. The Roadrunners are moving into outside contention for a New Year's bowl.

Cincinnati is tied for first in the AAC with UCF. Ben Bryant hit on 2 TD passes in a close win over East Carolina mid-week.

Texas is at risk of falling out of the top 25 rankings. The Longhorns beat K-State and beat TCU.

Illinois is 22nd in the latest AP rankings. The team is struggling in Big Ten West and has a game at Michigan next.

Florida State is expected to stay in the rankings.

Kansas State is ranked No. 20. Will Howard threw three TD passes in a big win over Baylor. Adrian Martinez is injured again.

Tulane's chances of winning the AAC went up in smoke after a loss at home to UCF.

John Rhys Plumee rushing the ball helped UCF beat Tulane. UCf and Cincinnati share first place in the AAC.

USC is 9-1 and ranked No. 7. The Trojans lost their star running back Travis Dye to a leg injury.

LSU is ranked No. 6 after a close win at Arkansas.

Tennessee (9-1) has dropped over 120 points on Missouri the last two years.
