Brighton can fire in high-scoring contest

Monday night football comes from the Amex Stadium as Brighton host Wolves and it promises to be an entertaining contest.

Wolves are fresh from a 3-2 FA Cup third-round replay victory over Brentford, while Brighton put four goals past Championship side Stoke City in the same competition.

Brighton were looking like top-four contenders in the early stages of the Premier League season, but the Seagulls have dropped to eighth in the table and Roberto De Zerbi’s men are just three points ahead of Monday night’s opponents Wolves.

However, that position doesn’t give a true reflection of Brighton’s form and the Seagulls look excellent value to beat Wolves at the Amex.

De Zerbi’s men have lost only three of their last 19 matches in all competitions and this run has come from a squad that has been hit pretty hard by injuries.

The south-coast outfit have been competing in domestic competitions as well as the Europa League and it’s to Brighton’s credit that they have been able to maintain a high level across their commitments.

The Seagulls remain a forward-thinking and progressive side and both teams have scored in all of Brighton’s 10 Premier League matches at the Amex this season, with a total of 36 goals seen in those games.

Gary O’Neil is working wonders at Wolves, but it’s a paper-thin squad at Molineux and his resources looked stretched.

Midfielder João Gomes is suspended and Hwang Hee-chan, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Boubacar Traore are all on international duty. Wolves were also involved in a midweek FA Cup replay against Brentford and it’s a big ask for O’Neil’s men to win on the road with a depleted squad.

It’s 6/5 with Sky Bet that Brighton win Monday night’s clash with at least three goals in the contest, and that looks a sound bet.

Brighton vs Wolves tip 1: Brighton & over 2.5 goals @ 6/5 with Sky Bet

Pedro a potent threat

Joao Pedro notched twice in Brighton’s 4-2 victory over Stoke in the FA Cup and the former Watford forward looks a solid bet to score on Monday night.

The Brazilian has hit seven Premier League goals this season from only nine starts and the 22-year-old has developed into one of Brighton’s most potent attacking options.

Pedro is on penalty duty for the Seagulls, and, in a game with a high goal expectancy, the Brazilian looks a good bet to get on the scoresheet.

Brighton vs Wolves tip 2: Joao Pedro to score at any time @ 7/5 with Sky Bet

Brighton can corner Wolves in three-leg bet builder

Brighton have taken 44 corners in their last six home Premier League contests, while De Zerbi’s men have delivered six corners in all of their previous six top-flight Amex matches, and they can record seven or more corners in the first leg of a bet builder.

Wolves have registered at least five corners in five of their last six matches and going over 10.5 match corners can land in this contest.

Pedro is a potent threat and the Brazilian is at the head of a Brighton attack that has recorded 40 shots on target in their previous five home top-flight matches.

Backing the 22-year-old to have two or more shots on target can complete a three-selection bet builder.

Brighton vs Wolves tip 3: Bet builder: Over 6.5 Brighton corners, over 10.5 match corners & Joao Pedro two or more shots on target @ 6/1 with Sky Bet
