Calgary Flames Tryout Sonny Milano Starts Camp On Kadri Line

Tyler Toffoli is the favourite for top-line duty with Elias Lindholm and Jonathan Huberdeau. Michael Backlund will play on the third line with Blake Coleman and Dillon Dube. Sonny Milano starts on Kadri line.

Calgary Flames tryout player Sonny Milano started training with Nazem Kadri on Thursday. Cody Eakin is a placeholder for the injured Andrew Mangiapane on the other side. Milana had a good season with the Anaheim Ducks last year, scoring 14 times and earning 34 points in 60 games. He didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Ducks. The Calgary Flames coach told Milani that there's a spot open for him. He missed time with injury last season and had much of the previous season wiped out by a concussion. Milan is confident he can play well with Kadi.
