Can Willie Mullins Win a Second Tingle Creek?

Willie Mullins has only trained the winner of the Tingle Creek Chase once. Energumene is the favorite to win the race on December 3. He won the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival earlier this year. Shishkin beat him by a length in the Clarence House Chase held at Ascot earlier in this season.

Shishkin and Chacun Pour Soi are going to meet in the Tingle Creek. Last year Chachun pour soi was the favorite but he finished last. He won the Grade 1 Dublin Chase 65 days later. Shishk was pulled up before the finish in Queen Mother Champion Chase.

Willie Mullins' horse, Ferny Hollow, is scheduled to run in the Tingle Creek. Fernys won the Champion Bumper race at the Cheltenham Festival in March 2020. He didn't race this year due to a ligament injury. He won a Grade 1 Novices’ Chase at Leopardstown in December 2021.
