Chelsea vs Man City: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds

Chelsea will know they must improve against Manchester City on Sunday despite a thumping derby win last time out against Tottenham.

The Blues ran out 4-1 winners to end rivals Spurs' unbeaten run in a truly chaotic all-London clash on Monday night but arguably still flattered to deceive for large periods against nine men before Nicolas Jackson's hat-trick finally settled the game in injury time.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Chelsea vs Man City is scheduled for a 4:30pm GMT kick-off on Sunday November 12, 2023.

The match will take place at Stamford Bridge in west London.

Chelsea vs Man City team news

Chelsea are still nursing one of the longest injury lists in the league, but will hope to have Armando Broja to call upon this weekend. Even so, Jackson will have earned the right to keep his place after his treble against Spurs.

Levi Colwill was withdrawn at half-time against Tottenham but that was a tactical decision, while Mykhailo Mudryk is fit again should Mauricio Pochettino opt to switch up his forward line.

Ben Chilwell, Romeo Lavia, Trevoh Chalobah and Carney Chukwuemeka are all still out, while Christopher Nkunku is not expected to return just yet.

The good news is that Erling Haaland has shaken off his ankle knock, and came roaring back in midweek with two goals, the second a rocket, to confirm City's place in the Champions League knockout stages. Sergio Gomez and Kevin De Bruyne are still out.

Chelsea vs Man City prediction

While Tottenham nearly punished Chelsea with nine men, and an absurdly high defensive line, few will bet against Manchester City picking the Blues off in London.

Pochettino will take measures to address the threat of the Premier League champions, of course, but I can't see past a City win here.
