Clippers at Bulls Prediction

The Chicago Bulls play host to the Los Angeles Clippers at the United Center on Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last 11 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after having their five-game win streak snapped by the Cavaliers in a 122-99 road loss on Sunday. Brandon Boston Jr. led the team in scoring with 24 points on nine of 19 shooting off the bench, Amir Coffey added 18 points while Moses Brown chipped in with 13 points and 16 rebounds off the bench. As a team, the Clippers shot 41 percent from the field and a miserly two of 19 from the 3-point line as they struggled to find their offense and never gave themselves a chance after getting outscored by a ridiculous 64-34 in the first half. Terance Mann scored just four points on two of eight shooting while Ivica Zubac scored just two points on zero of five shooting.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after beating the Magic in a 128-109 road win on Saturday. Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan each scored 32 points, Nikola Vucevic added 26 points with 13 rebounds and six assists while Patrick Williams chipped in with 16 points on seven of 11 shooting. As a team, the Bulls shot a sizzling 59 percent from the field and 16 of 35 from the 3-point line as they poured in 35 points in the second quarter to take a 13-point lead into halftime and the lead only grew in the second half where the Bulls poured in another 68 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Clippers are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games following a loss, 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Bulls are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight home games, 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win of more than 10 points and 13-6-1 ATS in their last 20 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-1 in the last six meetings overall, the Clippers are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall and the Clippers are 11-5 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Chicago.

The Clippers are still without John Wall and they are keeping eyes on Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris and Robert Convington who are all questionable here.  The Bulls are still without Lonzo Ball for this one but the good news is that they are expecting Derrick Jones Jr to return to the lineup. The Clippers could be missing a couple key players and they are only 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall, so I’ll stick with the Bulls who are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight home games.
