Just a couple picks so far on the college board, but both of them are 2U whales.

#6 Oklahoma @ Kansas

Matchup Information

  • Venue & Location: Memorial Stadium (Lawrence, KS)
  • Date: Saturday, October 28th, 2023
  • Kick Off: 12:00pm Eastern
  • Broadcast: FOX

The Pick: Kansas 1H TT Over 13.5 (-115) Bovada

Call it a homer pick if you want, but these Jayhawks can score the ball.

Even with Jason Bean at the helm of the offense, Kansas can find the endzone.

They score 25 1H points at Oklahoma State last weekend, and average 18 per 1H throughout the season, bumping that number up to 22 at home.

Oklahoma escaped with a win at home last Saturday, but still gave up 17 1H points to a bad UCF offense. They also allowed Texas to score 17 as well.

I like the Jayhawks to come out quickly and score two TDs in the first half to cash this for us.

This is a 2U play for me.

South Carolina @ Texas A&M

Matchup Information

  • Venue & Location: Kyle Field (College Station, TX)
  • Date: Saturday, October 28th, 2023
  • Kick Off: 12:00pm Eastern
  • Broadcast: ESPN

The Pick: SC/A&M Under 54 (-110) Bovada

I think we see defense come to play in this SEC Showdown.

The Gamecocks only put up 12 against Missouri last weekend in Columbia, and now they have to face the Aggies on the road.

Texas A&M ranks 27th, allowing just 19.9 points per game to offenses. I do not trust Rattler to be able to put up scores on the road. And why should I?

South Carolina barely scores 23 a game, and on the road, their even worse. The Gamecocks have scored 12, 20, and 14 points in their L3 road games.

I don’t think A&M’s offense is electric either, and I see this soaring under 50 total points.

This will be a 2U play for me.
