Corner Picks: Best bets, odds, soccer predictions: Juventus face AC Milan, Arsenal host Liverpool and more

There's a match on every second of every day right now. Teams are playing so often because of the World Cup. The competition for European spots will be intense.  I believe we'll see mid-tier clubs make runs for the European places after the break. They will have more international players fresh off the FIFA World cup.

Juventus and AC Milan are playing in the Derby Della Delusioni this weekend. Milan won Serie A last season. Juventus is in seventh place with 13 points. Juve has won only three of seven matches this season and is playing dull soccer. ACMilan won last year's Serie B. Milan is only 3 points behind league-leading Napoli.

Brighton hired Roberto De Zerbi as their manager. Antonio Conte is the favorite manager of all this weekend. Brighton are good, but they just replaced their boss. Tottenham didn't come through for us against Arsenal last weekend, and they play their third match on the road in a week. The price on Tottenham is tentative, likely because of their Champions League obligations, as well as the fact that they are playing in the away game.

Arsenal host Liverpool. Arsenal's Premier League matches have averaged 3.5 goals per match, whereas Liverpool's have been 3:86. Liverpool have started poorly and haven't won a single game outside Anfield. The over 2. 5 (-160) is the favorite bet.
