7:15: Brendan Dolan v Gary Anderson – Anderson to Win 4-2
First up on Saturday night is Brendan Dolan v Gary Anderson. Dolan was brilliant in seeing off Gerwyn Price but can he down another former world champ?
Anderson is a different proposition and he brought his decent form into the tournament. He can turn it on when he needs to and that will be the difference between the pair. I like Anderson to Win 4-2.
8:45pm: Raymond van Barneveld v Luke Littler – Littler to Win 4-2
Next is five-time champion Raymond van Barneveld against the 16-year-old sensation Luke Littler.
Barney is a legend of the sport but he hasn’t been producing anything special recently. Littler, on the other hand, has been special.
He’s been so good and he’s been a brilliant watch. He averaged 106 in his opener and he won’t be phased with whatever’s thrown at him. I’m on Littler to Win 4-2.
10:15pm: Luke Humphries v Joe Cullen – Cullen to Win 4-3
Finally, we’ve got Luke Humphries v Joe Cullen. Humphries was the pre-tournament favourites but he hasn’t really brought his fine form to the Ally Pally stage.
He’s been okay and he had to pull himself off the canvas against Ricardo Pietreczko last time out. He had an issue with the crowd and his darts.
Cullen hasn’t hit his peak this season and he can surprise a few and get the better of Humphries. I’m with Cullen to Win 4-3 as well as Hit the Highest Checkout in the Match.
