The A's have reached a two-year deal with Jace Peterson. Peterson played for the Brewers for three seasons. He hit a career-high eight home runs last season. Jeff Criswell was traded to the Rockies for Chad Smith. Cris well had a breakout season with 119 strikeouts and a 1.29 WHIP.
