Larry's Analysis: Braves veteran starter Charlie Morton has allowed one run on 11 hits over his last 19 innings. He should hold the Diamondbacks reasonably in check after Tuesday's 16-run outburst. Look for the Braves to pound Ryne Nelson -- he allowed a 57.9 percent hard-hit rate with zero strikeouts in his last outing versus Atlanta -- and cover the run line.

Mike's Analysis: In the hot Atlanta weather Tuesday, these two teams combined to score 29 runs. We are looking at another warm night Wednesday that should be conducive to scoring. The Braves have the potential to tee off against Ryne Nelson, who has a 4.98 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP. The Diamondbacks don’t have as easy of a matchup against Charlie Morton, but he hasn’t exactly been lights out with his 1.36 WHIP for the season. The Diamondbacks have also scored the seventh-most runs in baseball, so they can beat up on good pitchers. I’ll take the over.

The Simulation uses parameters such as each team's statistics, expected lineups and defense-adjusted performance metrics to simulate every game 10,000 times and generate projections for the matchup. Those projections are then compared to the betting lines to create pick grades based on confidence, with "A" picks representing the biggest edge.
