F1 results: Dutch GP 2022 full standings as Hamilton left livid by Mercedes error which gifts Verstappen win

Mercedes have been struggling this season but they have a team spirit and determination to keep moving forward. They have finished behind Red Bull and Ferrari but are still ahead of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc. Hamilton won the Dutch Grand Prix after a late safety car. He is now on track to win at least one race in every season he has raced in Formula One.

Mercedes made a mistake during the Dutch Grand Prix. Verstappen won the race. Hamilton is angry.

Verstappen won the Dutch GP. Hamilton was livid with Mercedes for their strategy. He was the only driver at the front on mediums and dropped to fourth by the chequered flag. Verstapen was overtaken by Hamilton immediately after the re-start. Russell finished second. Mercedes made a wrong decision and left Hamilton out on his own. Red Bull's team principal Toto Wolff was surprised by Mercedes' strategy and said he thought they would keep George out as a rear runner to try and hold Max back. The team, its drivers and entire workforce had done a superb job up until the point the wrong judgement call was made.
