Max Verstappen is favored to win the French Grand Prix. Ferrari's car has more tire degradation than Red Bull's. Ver stappens will be well behind Leclerc after the 10th lap. The temperatures are forecast to be in the 90s during the race on Sunday. The weather will play a role in deciding the winner. Red Bulls have a straight-line speed advantage. Le Clerc and Ver Stappan will have to work together to finish the whole race.

Kevin Magnussen will start the French Grand Prix 20th on the grid. He qualified in sixth place on Saturday. Magnuson has been fantastic in his return to Formula 1 this year. He will finish inside the Top 10 on Sunday. The track has seen the second-most overtakes in the last five years. There are over 40 overtaking attempts per race. Leclerc finished fifth in Canada. French GP is one of the most overtaken tracks on calendar.

The Interlagos circuit sees the most overtakes on an average amongst the 2?0?2? 2.2 venues. Monaco sees barely a few.

Ferrari and Charles Leclerc won the last race at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. Ferrari's drivers finished first in FP1 and second in the practice session on Friday. LeClerc has six pole positions and three fastest laps in 11 races this season. He will qualify on pole on Saturday and win the race on Sunday. Redbull's advantage at Paul Ricard is limited to a negligible gap in middle sector. RedBull's setup on Thursday was slightly different to that on the previous Friday, and Ferrari posted the quickest times in first and third sectors.

Mercedes has had a driver finish on the podium in four straight races this season. Mercedes is third in the standings behind Red Bull and Ferrari. Leclerc and Verstappen should occupy two of the three podium places, but the third is entirely up for grabs. Ferrari's second driver Carlos Sainz will be taking a grid penalty of at least 10 places ahead of Sunday's race. Sergio Perez struggled with Red Bulls' set up on Friday. George Russell finished fourth in both practice sessions.
