Double World Champions and the ‘Ol Campaigner Almost Taking Flight: Formula 1 United States Grand Prix Review

Red Bull won the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas in Austin. It was the first of three stops in the America. Red Bull's first double World Championship since Sebastian Vettel's last year of dominance for Red Bulls in 2013.

Carlos Sainz qualified fastest for the United States Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc took a grid penalty and qualified on the back row. Sergio Perez, Zhou Guanyu, Fernando Alonso, Esteban Ocon, and Yuki Tsunoda also qualified with grid penalties.

Max Verstappen won the United States Grand Prix. Red Bull won World Championship. Sebastian Vettel led laps of the race. George Russell crashed into Carlos Sainz's car and caused him to retire. Ver stappan has won 7 of last 8 races. He has equaled Michael Schumacher and Sebastian vettel’s shared record of 13 race wins in a season. He is now three races short of their record. The team has now won 15 of 19 Grand prix. It is Red Bulls' most dominant World championship.

George Russell has been dubbed Mr. Consistency for the season's final three races. In 16 of 19 races, George Russell's Mercedes W-13 has finished in the top 6 of a Grand Prix.

Haas launched protests against Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso for not receiving the "meatball" flag. Red Bull and Perez were absolved of any issues and can celebrate their World Championship. Alonso was given a 10-second stop-and-go penalty after the race. After qualifying 9th, starting 14th and finishing 7th on the track, Alonso's penalty dropped him to 15th.

Alonso was penalised for a mistake he made in the United States Grand Prix.

Lance Stroll is responsible for Fernando Alonso's post-race penalty. Alonso was penalised for breaking away from the car after a collision. Strolled saw Alonso pass him on lap 21. The Wiley ‘Ol Campaigner Almost Takes Flight is a review of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix.

Fernando Alonso crashed his car into the barriers at the United States Grand Prix. He was involved in a collision with a car driven by Lawrence Stroll. Strolled will receive a grid penalty for the Mexican Grand prix. Verstappen won the 2021 Mexican Grand Prix. Perez finished on the podium. Red Bull won both World Championships.
