Grizzlies vs. Heat prediction and odds for Wednesday, March 15

The Memphis Grizzlies may not have their superstar point guard right now, but they’re 3-2 in this five game stretch without him and they’ve really figured it out in their last three, winning them all.

They took down the Dallas Mavericks in back-to-back games, but neither Luka Doncic or Kyrie Irving played in either game. Before that they got an honest effort out of the mostly healthy Warriors and beat them in Memphis.

Now, the Miami Heat have won four of their last six games and are currently seventh in the East at 37-33. The Grizzlies are 41-26 and in second place in the Western Conference. Let’s check out the odds for this matchup down in South Beach.

Ja Morant isn’t with the team right now and I’d have to think the Grizz are on high alert about their behavior on the road.

This season, they’re 13-21 in road games and had that disastrous West Coast road trip that coincided with Dillon Brooks birthday party in Phoenix on Jan. 22. They went 0-5 on the trip and haven’t really fully recovered to their consistently winning ways since then.

On its most recent road trip prior to the Dallas game, Memphis went 1-3 and its lone win was against the terrible Houston Rockets. If you thought that their 13-21 road record was bad just take a look at their 12-21-1 record against the spread.

On the road, Memphis’s net rating is -2.2, but in Memphis it’s a league best home net rating of 10.8. I’m fading this team, especially down in Miami.
