Heat vs. Warriors same-game parlay predictions Dec. 28: Expect Golden State to maintain home win streak

The Golden State Warriors look to extend their eight-game home winning streak tonight when they host the Miami Heat.

The pregame narrative: Miami is missing two of its biggest stars tonight, which should help Golden State maintain its winning ways at Chase Center. On the prop market, look for rookies Brandin Podziemski and Jaime Jaquez Jr. to make some noise for their respective teams.

Heat vs. Warriors same-game parlay

Parlay: Warriors ML + Podziemski over 3.5 assists + Jaquez over 23.5 PRA (+335)

Warriors -3.5 (-150): Golden State typically has a distinct home-court advantage, evidenced by its .780 win percentage on home court from 2021-23. But that reputation was at serious risk early this season, as the Warriors dropped six of their first seven at Chase Center.

The turnaround has been real, though, and it shouldn't go unrecognized.

Golden State has now rattled off eight straight home wins. Not all of those wins are worth bragging about, but the list does include the Clippers and the East-leading Celtics. And all eight of those wins have covered this spread.

Miami has a respectable 9-6 record as a road squad, but only two of those wins came against above-.500 teams (Magic, Cavaliers). Also, the Heat won't have Jimmy Butler or Kyle Lowry tonight.

Other parlay picks

Podziemski over 3.5 assists (-182): The glow-up is real for Podziemski, who recently highlighted his own rags-to-riches journey in basketball on social media:

The shooting guard has elevated his game as a passer recently, collecting five-plus assists in six of his past eight games. Now that he's playing 30-plus minutes most nights, this shouldn't be a difficult line to clear.

Miami is an unspectacular matchup for this prop, allowing the 13th-most total assists per game (26.7). There's no reason to believe the Heat will stand in the way of Podziemski's heater.

Jaquez over 23.5 pts/reb/ast (-190): Coincidentally, Jaquez was selected one pick before Podziemski in the 2023 NBA Draft. And just like the aforementioned Warriors guard, Jaquez should make his mark tonight.

Expected to start at small forward for a fourth consecutive game (in place of Butler), Jaquez should have ample opportunity to put up numbers. He's coming off a 31-point, 10-rebound performance against the 76ers.

Jaquez has cleared this total in five of his past seven games, averaging 26.0 PRA in that span. He's surpassed the 30-minute mark in 13 of his past 15 games and should have plenty of confidence now that his production is starting to swell.
