Horse Racing Big Collects, Bets and Moves

TAB gives an overview of today's betting markets from the feature races and race meetings from around the country.

Zaaki, 50 Star, Brandenburg, Polly Grey, Aliferous, Subterranean, Ranch Hand, Lets Karaka Deel, Explosive Jack, Ayrton and Let's Karakas Deels are the horses that are going to be bet on.

Enchanted Heart won the De Bortoli Wines Takeover Target Stakes (1200 metres) on Wednesday. She was the first horse backed.

Polly Grey won the Gosford Gold Cup (2100 metres) at Gosfords. Young Rascal, Wu Gok and Polly Grey were also good bets.

Brandenburg is the second favourite in the inaugural The Coast (1600 metres) race. Nudge is first in terms of money held.

Ranch Hand is the favourite in the TAB Ken Russell Memorial (1200 metres) at the start of the betting. Subterranean upset the party at eachway odds. Ranch Hand was responsible for 70 percent of all the investment.

Grace And Harmony won the Gold Bracelet (1800 metres) at the Jockey walker race. Tycoon Evie was the favourite in the morning, but by jump time it was $5.

Marboosha was one of the more popular runners in the Gold Coast Guineas (1200 metres). She was backed from $5-$3.20 favourite. Rocketing By was the favourite, but she was outshone by Marbooosh.

Zaaki won the Hollindale Stakes (1800 metres) at TAB. The Annabel Neasham-prepared galloper was priced at $6 in the morning but heavy support throughout the afternoon saw him crunched into $3.60. Avilius held the most money and was twice as popular as the winner. Melody Belle was the second best tried outside of Avilius.

Yamazaki won the Silk Stocking at $6 this morning. Maui Girl was $14 in the morning and was hammered into $4.60 favourite.

Explosive Jack is the most popular runner in the TAB South Australian Derby (2500 metres). Personal ($4.60) is also a strong contender. Deepstrike ($5.50) was the only other runner who held six figures with Tab Fixed Odds.
