Horse racing predictions: Sandown, York and Chester

Chester, Sandown and York are all featured on ITV Racing on Saturday afternoon. There are eight races being covered, including the Listed Scurry Stakes at SandOWN. The terrestrial coverage takes place between 1.10-4.00pm.

1.40 Sandown – Coral “Beaten-By-A-Length’ Free Bet Handicap (1m 1f). ALDHAJA has two wins from four career starts for Charles Hills. His latest success came at Haydock over 1m last month.

BOARDMAN is showing the best form of his career this season. Boardman has won three of five starts. BOARDman won at Thirsk and Chester. 2.35 York – JCB Handicap (7f) is the last race.

CATURRA won the Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster last season. Clive Cox's colt was second to Perfect Power in the Middle Park Stake last October.

3.05 York – Sky Bet Race to the Ebor Grand Cup Stakes (Listed, 1m 6f). MANDOOB finished second at Ascot last month behind Al Aasy. Brian Meehan's runner is bred to have no problems with this distance.

3.20 Chester – Extra Places Every Day At Betway Handicap (7½f). Outgate won at the May meeting by a length. Derby-winning jockey Richard Kingscote rides this course.

Ryan Moore has been booked for the ride in the Pavers Foundation Catherine Memorial Sprint Handicap (6f) at York.
