Horse racing predictions: Beverley, Goodwood and Newmarket

There are eight live horse races on terrestrial television this Saturday afternoon. ITV Racing team are on air from 1.10pm to 4pm on the main channel.

Beverley is hosting the Joe Rowntree Memorial Handicap at 1.30pm. Outrun The Storm is a clear form contender for Richard Fahey. Tangled caught the eye doing good late work when third at Pontefract recently. Gemma Tutty's charge should go well at a decent price.

1.50pm, Goodwood – William Hill Prestige Fillies’ Stakes (7f, Group 3). Queen Olly and Bright Diamond are possible improvers. Fairy Cross is a Newmarket winner and a clear Sandown second since.

Beverley is going to William Hill Silver Cup Handicap (1m 2f) on 2.05. Wait To Excel is after a hat-trick. Forgivable is worth a chance for Tim Easterby.

Orbaan and Rhoscolyn are former C&D winners. Tacarib Bay is preferred. Richard Hannon's charge had Oo De Lally behind in fifth when scoring at Haydock over this trip in early July. Cheekpieces go on here and Taciarib is the one to beat.

2.40 pm, Beverley – William Hill Beverly Bullet Sprint Stakes (5f, Listed). Tis Marvellous won the Bullet in good style 12 months ago. Clive Cox’s charge has only run twice this season and they were both stronger races than this one.

Hoo Ya Mal is aiming to win the William Hill March Stakes at Goodwood. He finished second in Epsom Derby in June and third in the Gordon Stake here.

Summerghand has won at York last Saturday. Great Ambassador didn't have much luck in the Stewards’ Cup four weeks ago. John Ryan's Manaccan could be the answer for JohnRyan's John.

Mutasaabeq and Jadoomi are the favourites for the William Hill Celebration Mile Stakes at Goodwood. Charlie Hills's son of Invincible Spirit has been running well in defeat since his Thirsk win in April.
