How to bet Sunday Night Baseball between Los Angeles Angels and Kansas City Royals

ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball moves to the American League this week, with the top team hosting a playoff hopeful.

The defending AL champion Kansas City Royals enter Sunday with a 12-game lead in the AL Central and looked poised for another run at the World Series. The Los Angeles Angels have fallen 2 1/2 games behind the Houston Astros in the AL West and are barely ahead of the Baltimore Orioles for the second AL wild-card spot.

Our ESPN Chalk baseball handicappers swept last week, as Joe Peta had Pittsburgh as the even-money home underdog and Andrew Lange and Dave Tuley both had the over (note: Tuley also recommended a play on the over in the first five innings -- which won -- but doesn't take credit for it as it wasn't his official best bet). Peta is 10-6 on Sunday Night Baseball with a net profit of 4.35 units (laying the price to win 1 unit when taking the favorite and laying 1 unit when taking the underdog). Tuley is 7-3 for a net profit of 3.8 units. Lange is 5-2 for a profit of 2.07 units. This Sunday night, Peta again takes a side while Lange and Tuley agree on the total.
