Love has been incredible over the past three weeks. So, why is his prop listed more than 40 yards below his lowest passing total from the last four games? Because this isn’t as much of a mismatch on the field as it looks on paper.
The Giants have been an improving defense over the back half of this season. They’re still prone to horrible performances, such as their one against the Dallas Cowboys, but they’ve played well in the last two weeks. Plus, the Giants have the fifth-worst run defense in the NFL. Look for the Packers to run the ball a lot in this game as they exploit the Giants’ biggest weakness.
Caesars is offering the best price by far. Every other of our best sportsbooks asks -110 or more for this Under. With this being a primetime game and considering Love’s recent successes, everyone will take this Over. Therefore, you could wait until closer to kickoff to get in on this prop, as the number may climb to 230.

Though Love will put up more pedestrian numbers than he has in recent weeks, the Packers will still score at least two touchdowns in this game. The Giants allow the second-most rushing touchdowns per game, but the Packers have done most of their scoring through the air this season.
Love has thrown 22 touchdowns this season. He’s thrown at least two in his last four games after throwing two just once in six contests. Many expect Love to revert to what he was for most of this season, but there is a chance that Love has just improved this much with more reps under center. We’ll back the hot hand at this price rather than going against the grain.

The two main reasons for this are the Giants’ run defense and Love’s improved ability to take care of the ball. The Giants’ run defense is so bad that the Packers will run the ball plenty on Monday. That means that Love will have better passing opportunities and fewer chances to make a mistake. Then there’s the fact that Love hasn’t thrown an interception in three weeks.
