Josh Benson interview: Barnsley midfielder on relegation pain, Michael Duff's influence and dreams of one day returning to the Premier League

Benson is enjoying his new season at Barnsley. He worked with Sean Dyche at Burnley and he likes his current manager. Benson grew up at Arsenal and watched Jack Wilshere rise through the youth ranks to the first team. He played in the same team as Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson. Barn's are currently on a run of three straight wins in all competitions. They have the joint-best defensive record in League One with 14 goals conceded in 17 games. Six of those goals have been conceded after the break. The team is starting to know what to expect from each other. It's a very energetic team and they need to use that to their advantage.
