Kings vs. Thunder NBA expert prediction and odds for Sunday, Feb. 11 (Bet the OVER)

Two of the best young teams in the Western Conference face off on Sunday afternoon in Oklahoma City. 

The Oklahoma City Thunder are playing the second game of a back-to-back after losing badly to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday afternoon. On the other hand, the Kings are coming off a wild week. 

They lost badly to the Detroit Pistons at home before blowing out the defending champion Denver Nuggets on Friday night. 

The Kings are road dogs in this meeting, but could there be value elsewhere to bet on?

Domantas Sabonis: Over his last 20 games, Sabonis has 10 triple-doubles, including one in the Kings’ win over Denver on Friday night. The big man is playing one of his former teams – OKC – in what should be a favorable matchup since the Thunder are just 29th in the NBA in rebounding percentage. Sabonis had 18 points and 16 boards in the last meeting with OKC. 

Oklahoma City Thunder

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: SGA is coming off a 25-point game on Saturday afternoon, and he scored 43 points in the last game against Sacramento. The MVP candidate would love to get his team back on track on Sunday. 

These two teams have dueling trends on Sunday, which is a reason why I don’t mind focusing on the total in this game. 

The Thunder are 14-7 against the spread as home favorites, and the Kings are 8-4 ATS as road underdogs. 

The last meeting between these two teams ended up with 251 points scored, and these teams are both in the top half of the league in offensive rating. The Kings are also just 18th in the league defensive rating so far this season. 

The OVER is 30-22 in the Thunder’s 52 games this season while the Kings are 26-23-2 on the OVER. 

These teams are also No. 10 and No. 11 in the league in pace, which should lead to plenty of points and possessions.
