Knicks vs. Bucks NBA Player Props, Odds

The New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks clash at Fiserv Forum on Friday as both teams look to bounce back from ugly losses, and we present our Knicks vs. Bucks NBA player props for the showdown based on the best NBA odds.

The Damian Lillard era hasn’t gotten off on the best footing in Milwaukee, as the Bucks are just 2-2. Dame opened his Bucks tenure with a 39-point eruption in a razor-thin win but has put up just 46 points in his last three games. Milwaukee has alternated wins and losses, and it heads home seeking after getting crushed by the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.

The New York Knicks have had a mixed start to their season, with a 2-3 record after five games. They recently played their fourth road game, splitting a back-to-back series with the Cleveland Cavaliers on consecutive days.

Dating back to 2021, the Bucks have won their last six against the Knicks.

To accompany our NBA Best bets, here are our best Knicks vs. Bucks NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Knicks vs. Bucks NBA player props

Jalen Brunson Over 2.5 made 3-pointers (+160 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

Despite Brunson’s subdued performances from beyond the arc in recent games, this line is quite skewed, and we’ll happily take advantage of the plus-money odds that come with it. FanDuel and DraftKings offer this one with odds between +140 and +146, but bet365 provides the most profitable odds.

Brunson opened the season going 11-of-20 from beyond the arc across his first two games, but he’s gone ice cold across his last three, sporting a frigid 2-of-10 mark in that span. Fortunately, he’s in a great bounce-back spot tonight.

The Bucks allow 122 points per game, 14.8 made 3-pointers, and 41.8% shooting from three. All three of these marks are the third-most in the Association. The Knicks offense has sometimes looked anemic to start the season, but this is a great spot for the team — and Brunson — to improve and get some traction. Brunson is attempting six 3-pointers per game in 2023-24, which is the most of his career. He can certainly connect on three of them against this lackluster perimeter defense.

Brook Lopez Over 1.5 blocks (-110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Lopez has averaged just half a block to start the 2023-24 campaign, swatting no shots in his first two games and one in each of his last two. He was one of the NBA’s premier shot-blockers last season with a career-high 2.5 per contest as he racked up multiple blocks in 51 of 78 games.

Though Lopez is off to a slow start on defense, he’s due for some positive regression on Friday. The Knicks have allowed the fourth-most blocks to opponents this season at 6.6 per contest. In the opener against Atlanta, six different players recorded a block, and Cavs starting center Evan Mobley had two blocks in each of his two games against New York.

Damian Lillard Under 24.5 points (+100 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Lillard’s scoring has taken a step back in his first four games with the Bucks. On the season, he’s averaging just 21.3 points per game — his lowest mark since the 2014-15 season — while shooting 40% from the field. His 13.8 field goal attempts are a career low.

Lillard went ballistic in his Bucks debut, popping off for 39 points. Since then, he’s scored 15, 6, and 25 points. As one of the NBA’s premier long-distance shooters, Lillard shoots quite a few 3-pointers. He's averaged 13.8 field goal attempts this season, and 7.8 have come from beyond the arc. That’s not a new trend. Over his last four seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, Lillard shot 20 times per game, including 10.4 attempts from three.

The Knicks are tied for the seventh-fewest 3-pointers allowed per game at 11, and their 10.3 triples allowed on the road are eighth-best. New York also ranks fifth in 3-point percentage allowed at 31.6% and 10th in 3-point percentage on the road at 30.1%. The Knicks allow just 102 points per game overall (second-fewest) and 102.3 on the road (third-fewest). This is a quality defense and one that limits perimeter makes. Given Lillard’s troubles scoring the basketball since the opener, betting the Under on his points makes a lot of sense. The odds are -115 at FanDuel and bet365, but we can get fantastic +100 odds at DraftKings.
