Man City treble chance now ODDS-ON after Real Madrid rout as Holy Grail now three wins away

MANCHESTER CITY are now odds-on to win the treble this season after their Champions League semi-final demolition job on Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola's men are just three wins away from wrapping up the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, where they are strong favourites in each to lift that trophy aloft.

The 4-0 win over reigning champions Madrid was as near-perfect a performance as City have put together under Guardiola.

They were already odds-on to progress through that tie but the manner in which they achieved it will have sent a warning out to the rest of Europe.

They've since been cut to just 1/2 with Betfair to win every competition left this season.

City head to Istanbul with a new pressure of being the strong favourites to win their maiden Champions League trophy that Guardiola and co have craved since they walked through the door.

However, attention this week returns to the Premier League, where City can wrap up the title with a win over Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

They could seal it 24 hours earlier though if Arsenal lose to Nottingham Forest, or win it with a draw if that's the result the Gunners get at the City Ground.

Either way, at 1/5 to beat a dire Chelsea side, City are likely to wrap up trophy number one of the season this weekend - and are 1/100 to win it at some stage in the next fortnight.

The FA Cup final comes next when the two Manchester clubs meet at that stage for the first time ever.

Pep's side are 2/9 to lift that trophy over their closest rivals, who themselves will be chasing a double that day having already had their day in the Wembley sun in the Carabao Cup final this year.

Then it's the big one in Turkey, with City set to face Serie A side Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

Similarly to the FA Cup, City are favourites to lift it and are 2/9 to win the trophy they wanted at the start of the season.

This treble was as big as 25/1 with Betfair at the start of the season, which 25 punters backed and two stand to win over £1,000.

Discussing his side's chances of the treble after that Madrid rout, Guardiola said: "Of course now the players can see it, they can visualise it.

"They all talk to each other and say 'we want to everything', so they had that feeling. It's normal.

"We are only three games away, one from each competition, so we can do it."
