‘Mollycoddled’ Profondo gets back on track with some tough love

Richard Litt's horse Profondo had a forgettable autumn campaign. He was unplaced in two starts and Linn sent him to Fernhill to do equestrian work. Profonda won the Spring Champion Stakes at his third start. Lini's trainer believes Profino will be a better racehorse in the spring. The horse will take on Zaaki in Saturday's Tramway Stake at Randwick. Zaakis won this race last year. The eight-year-old has been backed from $2.30 to $1.50. Brenton Avdulla will ride Profini. Anamoe finished third to Winx in last month's WinX.
