Mum given horrific choice to terminate baby so she could have 'life-saving' cancer treatment dies
Emma Howard was diagnosed with breast cancer at 26. She was on her way to being given the all clear but in 2014 she was also diagnosed as having secondary lung cancer. At the time she had a baby, Gabriel, but she decided to abort it. Emma died on May 29 at Willowbrook Hospice. Her funeral arrangements include a horse-drawn carriage and pink feathers. She will be cremated and her ashes scattered alongside her son Gabriel. The family is planning to make memory boxes for her children. They are not ready to start the project yet. Ms Howard's sister Nicki Appleton said she always tried to do her best despite the odds.
