NASCAR at COTA 2022: Odds, Preview and Top Storylines
The NASCAR Cup Series visits the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, for the second time in its history on Sunday. Chase Elliott won the first Cup series trip around COTA last May. Elliott is third all-time in road course wins in the Cupseries behind Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart.

Chase Elliott is the only Hendrick driver without a victory in 2022. Elliott has seven road course wins in his career, including a first-place finish in the Cup Series' first trip to COTA last May. Kyle Larson finished second behind Elliott last season. Kyle may become the first driver to win multiple races this season if he wins at Cota.
Christopher Bell won the second race of the 2021 Cup Series season on the Daytona road course. A.J. Allmendinger won on Indianapolis road circuit. Austin Cindric has won at Daytona and Indianapolis before he made the full-time jump to the Cup series. Ross Chastain finished fourth at COTA last May.
