NASCAR is heading to Bristol Motor Speedway this week, and it will be the first time that the Cup Series races at the concrete surface in the spring since 2020.

The Bristol spring race returning to the traditional surface is a welcome sight for most drivers after the dirt surface proved to be a major challenge, and there are a trio of heavy favorites at the top of the odds chart this week.

Kyle Larson is the early favorite to win at +400, with Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell right there with him at +500.

Larson, Hamlin and Bell were the top three finishers in last year’s fall race, with Larson and Hamlin being former winners on the traditional surface, but Bell’s won on the dirt surface before and is coming off a dominant win last week at Phoenix.

The oddsmakers then have a trio of drivers who won multiple races last season in William Byron, Ryan Blaney and Chris Buescher at +1100, with Buescher having won here in 2022 and finishing second last week.

Buescher’s teammate Brad Keselowski is next up at +1200 followed by a pair of Toyota drivers who have run really well the past two weeks in Tyler Reddick and Ty Gibbs at +1300.

Kyle Busch comes in at +1600 and is looking to bounce back this week along with Joey Logano, who’s tied with Ross Chastain at the moment at +1800 to win.

Other names to watch include Martin Truex Jr. and Chase Elliott at +2000, with Bubba Wallace and Erik Jones a couple of longer shots to keep an eye on at +4000.

The Food City 500 is scheduled for Sunday, March 17 at 2:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on FOX, with qualifying scheduled for Saturday, March 16 at 4:50 p.m. on FS1.
