NASCAR odds 2023: Breaking down race week odds for Xfinity 500 winner at Martinsville Speedway

NASCAR is traveling to Martinsville Speedway this week to finalize its field for the Championship races. The Cup Series will run the Xfinity 500 with two spots in the November 5th Championship race on the line. The green flag drops at 2 p.m. ET on NBC.

Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson have both clinched a berth in the Championship race by virtue of wins the past two weeks. William Byron and Ryan Blaney currently hold the other two spots for advancement by virtue of points. Tyler Reddick, Martin Truex, Jr., Denny Hamlin, and Chris Buescher are the four drivers on the outside looking in.

Hamlin enters Martinsville weekend as a sizable favorite to win at DraftKings Sportsbook. He has +275 odds with Larson following him at +700 and Byron at +750. Non-playoff driver Brad Keselowski follows at +850 and Truex, Jr. is +900.

Hamlin has won this race twice, winning in consecutive seasons across 2009 and 2010. Last year, he won the the first two stages of the race and led the most laps before finish fifth. In the spring 400-lap race at Martinsville he has three wins in 2008, 2010, and 2015, and finished fourth this past spring.
