The NBA's Most Improved Player Award is given to the player who's made the biggest jump from one season to another. Pascal Siakam, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ja Morant have won the award recently.

Tyrese Haliburton is expected to improve his game after a midseason trade to the Indiana Pacers. Haliburton dished 8.2 dimes per game in his rookie season and averaged 15.3 points and 4.0 rebounds.

Brunson had the best season of his career in 2021-22. He finished with 16.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists. Brunson agreed to a four-year, $100-million contract with the Knicks.

Jalen Green was a rookie last season, averaging 17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists. After the All-Star break, he upped his averages to 22.1 points and 3,8 rebounds. He finished the season on a strong note, scoring 30 points in five straight and 41 in the finale against Atlanta.

Michael Porter Jr. had a strong 2020-21 season in which he averaged 19 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists. Back injuries limited him to just nine games last season. He's fully healthy for the new campaign and will play on a team that should make the playoffs and contend for a title.
