NBA player props: Best bets for Saturday, January 13 featuring Giannis, Kyrie, Jaylen Brown

We’ve got eight games on Saturday’s NBA slate, with a handful of teams on the second night of a back-to-back set. Here’s a look at some of our favorite player props for the day’s action, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Jaylen Brown over 5.5 rebounds vs. Rockets (+105)

The Celtics forward has been attacking the boards lately, averaging 6.1 per game over the last eight contests. Jayson Tatum has dropped off a bit on the rebounding front, which has coincided with Brown’s rise there. The Rockets are a solid team defensively but have been somewhat soft when it comes to giving up rebounds. Brown has gone over this mark four times in the last eight, and I’ll back him to go over it Saturday.

Dejounte Murray over 33.5 points + rebounds + assists vs. Wizards (-125)

Murray has been on a bit of a scoring tear lately, averaging 27 points per game over the last six contests. The Hawks guard might have the keys to this offense on the second night of a back-to-back if Trae Young sits with a shoulder issue. The Wizards have been the worst defensive team in the league by a decent margin, so Murray should be able to put up a strong stat line tonight.

Giannis Antetokounmpo under 33.5 points vs. Warriors (-110)

The Greek Freak has gone under this line in the last two games, and has historically not put the ball in the basket a ton against the Warriors. The Bucks superstar has averaged 20.4 points per game in 17 career meetings against Golden State, and I believe the Warriors will try to contain him in this matchup. Look for Antetokounmpo to remain under his points line.

Kyrie Irving over 3.5 3-pointers vs. Pelicans (+110)

After missing 12 games with a heel contusion, Irving has been on fire for the Mavericks. The point guard is averaging 29.8 points per game since returning to the floor, and is shooting 53.5% from deep. He’s gone over this line three times in the last six games, with one under coming at three triples made. Irving has made at least two three-pointers in each game and should have a big night in an important matchup against the Pelicans.

LeBron James over 8.5 assists vs. Jazz (-115)

In a surprising turn of events, James has been ruled out of Saturday’s game with an ankle injury. You can probably fire up overs on props for Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves with this news.

The Lakers forward has dished out 8.4 assists per game over his last 10 contests, going over this line four times with two unders coming at eight assists. He’s dished out at least six assists in each contest and has a favorable matchup tonight against Utah. The Jazz rank 28th in opponent assists allowed per game this season, which should help James get over this line.
