NBA picks: Thunder vs. Kings prediction, odds, over/under, spread, injury report for Thursday, Dec. 14

We have an interesting Western Conference showdown to look forward to this evening as the Oklahoma City Thunder hit the road to battle the Sacramento Kings at 10 p.m. ET.

Oklahoma City (15-7) is coming off a 134-120 victory over the Jazz on Monday, maintaining its position as the No. 2 seed in the West. The final score isn’t indicative of how lopsided this game was as the Thunder entered the fourth quarter with a 38-point lead. Meanwhile, Sacramento (13-9) is trying to bounce back after suffering a 119-99 loss to the Clippers on Tuesday. The Kings fell into a hole early and couldn’t climb out as they shot just 41.9% from the field for the night.

On the injury front, Trey Lyles (illness) is listed as questionable for the Kings.

Sacramento enters the game as a 1.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, accompanied by a total of 244.5. The Kings are a -125 moneyline favorite, making the Thunder a +105 underdog.

Thunder vs. Kings, 10 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Thunder +1.5

Oklahoma City is 4-0-1 against the spread as a road underdog this season and I think it will handle its business in this spot tonight. The Thunder fell to the Kings in a 105-98 loss just over a month ago and that setback can be attributed to them having a poor shooting night from three. As the league’s best three-point shooting team heading into tonight’s contest, I think OKC will be dialed in from downtown and pick up the win here.

Over/Under: Over 244.5

Both OKC and Sacramento have been over-friendly squads this year and it’s bound to hit in tonight’s contest. The Thunder have scored 130+ points in back-to-back games and are going up against a Kings team that is allowing opponents to shoot 49.2% from the field. Hammer the over for this one.
