NBA player props: Best bets for Monday, December 18 featuring Mikal Bridges, Dejounte Murray, DeMar DeRozan

We have a busy slate of NBA action to look forward to tonight with 11 games tipping off across the league. That presents plenty of opportunities to hit on player props courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook. We’ll go over some of our favorites below.

Mikal Bridges over 5.5 rebounds vs. Jazz (+100)

Bridges is averaging 5.6 rebounds a night and has the chance to blow past his season average tonight when the Nets visit the Jazz. Utah games have featured some of the highest shot attempts in the league on average with the Jazz averaging 90.7 per game and opponents putting up 91.5 a night. Bridges will have the opportunity to pull down several boards from the misses and I’ll take the over on his rebounding total.

Dejounte Murray over 1.5 steals vs. Pistons (+105)

The Hawks will try to add to the Pistons’ historic losing streak tonight and like almost every Detroit opponent, they could really pad their stats this evening. Opponents are ripping them for nine steals a game and Atlanta guards like Murray and Trae Young could show off their sleight of hand skills tonight. Murray in particular is averaging 1.6 a game and he can get at least two tonight.

Lu Dort over 1.5 3-pointers vs. Grizzlies (+114)

Oklahoma City hosts Memphis tonight and this is an opportunity for the home team to get active from downtown. Grizzlies opponents are averaging 14.4 threes per game on 39.5% shooting, the second-highest totals in both categories. Dort in particular has gone 5-8 from downtown over his past two games and I think he’s a lock to get at least two tonight.

Gary Trent Jr. over 9.5 points vs. Hornets (+100)

Trent is averaging 10.3 points per game and I think he’ll match his season total against the Hornets this evening. Opponents are shooting roughly 50% against Charlotte’s defense this season and that’s an opportunity for Trent to have a nice evening from the field. He was held scoreless in their most recent game against the Hornets on December 8, but I think he’ll have a bounce-back effort tonight.

DeMar DeRozan under 5.5 assists vs. 76ers (+105)

Chicago will visit Philadelphia tonight and DeRozan is heading into this matchup averaging 5.5 assists per game. The 76ers are rolling on a six-game winning streak and have been putting their foot down defensively, holding their last two opponents to under 100 points. I think they’ll do something similar to this struggling Bulls team and make it difficult for DeRozan to distribute the ball.
