Last night we saw the Braves win by a score of 6-4, after falling down 4-1 in the Top of the 3rd. A four-run bottom of the sixth propelled the Braves to victory, thanks to doubles by Austin Riley, Sean Murphy, and Marcell Ozuna in that inning.
Tonight, the Mets look to even the series while Atlanta hopes to extend their three-game winning streak.

Mets vs Braves Prediction & Best Bet
Despite two studs on the mound today, I think we might see some offense in Atlanta.
The Braves rank Top 5 in nearly every offensive category, Hits, Runs, Slugging %, OBP, and HomeRuns. They are also 8th in team Batting AVG.
Max Scherzer is coming off a few solid starts, but he has definitely struggled on the road this year. Plus these Atlanta Brave bats are a different kind of animal.
I think we see a fairly average start from Charlie Morton, but ultimately I like the Braves to take this one at home.

Max Scherzer Over 5.5 Hits Allowed (-120) BetMGM
Going along with our game script, I think the Braves get to Scherzer early and often.
Now, Scherzer has only give up 6+ hits in 3/9 games this season, but every single time it was on the road. He also gave up those hits to the Brewers, the Tigers, and the Rockies, three offenses that are clearly not as good as Atlanta’s.
In his L2 outings, Scherzer has given up 5 hits and 6 hits, both while pitching seven innings. The Tigers were able to knock 8 hits off Scherzer before he was pulled midway through the 4th inning.
As long as Scherzer makes it at least 5 innings, I think the Braves can get 6 hits.
Bonus Bet: Scherzer Under 17.5 Outs (-120) BetMGM
For the same odds at the same book, this is essentially a safety net incase Scherzer gets pulled earlier than expected. In my mind, there is a good chance the Braves get 6 hits by the 5th inning, and Max gets pulled before finishing the 6th.
