Chris’ Pick

I’m sticking with the Yankees here. I get the case to be made for a sizeable underdog like Detroit with the Tigers playing some solid baseball right now, but I’m still not overly sold on Detroit. Granted the Yankees really aren’t that much closer to making a run at the playoffs in their current state either, but this Yankees team almost feels too proud to just wave the white flag and play out the string. I’m sure Detroit in a spoiler role will hold value down the stretch, I just don’t think it’s here. Give me the Yankees.
