Gareth Southgate has been in charge of England since 2010. England suffered relegation to League B of the Nations League after losing to Italy. He has a World Cup semi-final and a European Championship final under his belt. Teddy Sheringham hopes it's not his last tournament. Sheringh wants to see Southgates build an England dynasty similar to that of Alex Ferguson's at Manchester United.  

Sheringham would like to see Arteta take over at Arsenal. Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is the favourite to replace Gareth Southgate. England are taking bets on his successor. England have a World Cup in Qatar.

Howe is a strong candidate to replace Southgate. He is 6/1 favourite in the eyes of BetVictor. Newcastle is the world's richest club. It would be hard for Howe to walk away from a project where funding is unlikely to be an issue.

Mauricio Pochettino was sacked by PSG after a poor season. He was also overlooked for the Chelsea job recently. Pochetino is considering a Premier League return, but his options are limited. Antonio Conte is content in north London, while Man City and Liverpool are not looking for a new manager.

Graham Potter is the favourite to become the next permanent England manager. Potter was only appointed Chelsea manager in September. He led Brighton to a ninth-place finish in the Premier League last season. Last year, Potter described the England job as the pinnacle of football management.

Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard are both former midfielders. Both men have been linked with the England job. They are priced at 20/1 apiece on William Hill. Lampards has managed Derby, Chelsea and Everton, while Gerrard won the Scottish Premiership with Rangers before taking over at Aston Villa.
