That result means Rangers have lost three of their first seven games of the league season, leaving them third in the Scottish Premiership.

Beale’s men were also well beaten in the Champions League play-offs, going down 7-3 to PSV on aggregate.

A 5-1 defeat in the second leg in Eindhoven left many supporters calling for the manager’s head.

Beale’s return to Ibrox - he was previously a member of Steven Gerrard’s coaching staff - did not go to plan, and attention has already turned to who will replace him.

Why Frank Lampard Is The Smart Bet: Next Rangers Manager Odds Breakdown

Frank Lampard was not among the early favourites following the sacking of Beale, but he is now right at the top of the betting at odds of just 2/1 with .

Could the former Derby County, Chelsea and Everton head coach be on his way to Glasgow?

Gerrard, his former team-mate at international level, did a fine job at the helm of Rangers, and Lampard will no doubt be attracted to the idea of managing a club with such a rich history and passionate fan base.

Reports have suggested Lampard was keen to chat to club officials, who may well reach out.

His track record in the Premier League is mixed but he could be a good fit at Ibrox.

Kevin Muscat: A Close Look At The Odds For The Next Rangers Manager Position

Kevin Muscat made 29 appearances for Rangers in 2002/03, his only season with the club.

That was a memorable campaign at Ibrox, as the Gers won the Premiership, the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup.

Muscat took his first steps in management with a six-year spell at Melbourne Victory.

He is now in charge of Yokohoma F. Marinos, the Japanese side whom he led to J1 League glory in 2022.

Ange Postecoglou had huge success with Celtic after his time with the Marinos, so do not rule out Muscat at a best price of 3/1 with BetVictor.

The Odds Are In: Pascal Jansen Dominates Next Rangers Manager Predictions

Pascal Jansen was probably not a familiar name to the majority of Rangers supporters before this week.

However, the London-born boss has emerged as a strong contender to be the next man through the door in the blue half of Glasgow. Parimatch have him listed at 3/1 at the time of writing.

Jansen, who is half-Dutch and currently manages Eredivisie outfit AZ, was asked about the links on Wednesday, but he predictably batted the question away.

“I don't know if there has been contact with AZ, but there has been no contact with me,” he said, before adding: “It's completely out of the question.”

That appears to suggest Jansen is not interested in the job, but that could change if he does end up holding talks with the Scottish side.

Derek McInnes Trails As Steven Davis Gains Momentum In Rangers Managerial Odds

Steven Davis, the former Rangers midfielder, is leading the team on a temporary basis.

His playing contract expired at the end of last term, but the former Southampton man has been training with the Gers as he continues his recovery from a serious knee injury.

Davis (11/1 with BetUK) lacks experience, however, which is why he is only an outsider to become the next permanent manager.

Derek McInnes (16/1) has turned down Rangers in the past. That approach came when he was at Aberdeen, but the current Kilmarnock boss would surely find it hard to reject them again.

Whether his appointment would excite the Rangers fans is up for debate.

Navigate the Speculation: Next Rangers Manager Odds Explored

Graham Potter was initially down as one of the favourites for the job, but he has since drifted to 20/1 with .

After the disappointment of his stint at Chelsea last season, it seems like Potter is determined to take his time before deciding on his next job.

The fact that he is now available at much longer odds than a few days ago suggests that the former Brighton & Hove Albion honcho is holding out for a role south of the border.

Philippe Clement is priced at 16/1, te is out of work and would be easier to appoint than someone like Jansen.

However, the former Monaco manager has reportedly opened talks with Al-Shabab of Saudi Arabia, where the remuneration package will no doubt be higher than the one offered in Glasgow.
