Odds and Ends: Betting Market Trusting Clemson Tigers More than Syracuse Orange

No. 5 Clemson is looking to protect a 37-game home winning streak when it hosts No. 14 Syracuse on Saturday at noon.

Syracuse Orange are undefeated and the favorite to beat Clemson Tigers. The Tigers are 6-0 and have the longest winning streak in the nation. DJ Uiagalelei is the best quarterback Syracuse has seen this season. Clemson will try to run the ball with Will Shipley and take control of the game on offense. Syracuse hasn't played a Power 5 opponent away from home this year. Last week at FSU the Tigers led 34-14 in third quarter before giving up 14 points.

No. 7 Clemson plays sixth-ranked Tennessee in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 30. The winner takes control of the ACC Atlantic Division. Syracuse's offense averages 36 points per game. Clemson gets more of a chance to cover than Syracuse because they play at home.
