Despite attempting the 17th-most passes in college football, Bo Nix has astonishingly thrown only two interceptions. Though it’s not a complete shocker, considering Nix set the NCAA record for most games started by a quarterback earlier in the year.

Oregon has one of the best-receiving corps in the nation, along with an offensive line that’s done a stellar job of protecting Nix. Bo has only been sacked five times, the fewest among Pac-12 starters, and that trend should continue against a Washington defense that has taken down opposing QBs 19 times.

The Huskies rank bottom 25 in FBS sack rate, which will leave Nix with plenty of time in the pocket to avoid turnovers.

Outside of Nix, Troy Franklin has been the biggest beneficiary of the Ducks’ excellent offensive line. The California native has taken a giant leap in his third year in Eugene and has an opportunity to double his previous single-season receiving yards record if Oregon gets to the National Championship.

Franklin has been extremely consistent in the past three weeks, averaging 134 yards and scoring four touchdowns. When Oregon faced Washington in Week 7, Franklin had eight catches for 154 yards and a score.

The Huskies’ offensive line has also been top-notch, allowing just eight sacks on the year and only one multi-sack game. Despite the solid protection, Michael Penix has eclipsed 300 passing yards once in Washington’s previous four matchups.

Rome Odunze went off for 128 yards and two scores in round one vs. Oregon, and the Ducks will likely pay him extra attention on Friday night to avoid getting burned again.

Penix’s passing prop will be influenced by Oregon’s ability to apply pressure. The Ducks have 32 sacks and are fresh off a dominant victory over Oregon State that was thanks, in large part, to Oregon putting D.J. Uiagalelei under duress throughout the game.
