Pick

The Blue Jays limp into this game trying to avoid being swept and they have struggled over the last week. Seattle had some issues with the Tigers and Twins after the All-Star break, but they were able to get two big wins to start this series. Seattle is starting Bryan Woo, who has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four of his last five starts, but did allow six earned runs in his last outing. Toronto is starting Alek Manoah, who has allowed five earned runs in two starts (9 IP) since being back with the Blue Jays. I cannot trust Manoah and I do think Woo’s last outing was an outlier, so I am backing the Mariners here.
