As for Sanchez, he’s been a bit sketchy in his last pair with seven earned in 11.1 innings for an 0-2 record. On Saturday New York had a decent offensive game overall but really couldn’t keep pace on the scoreboard. The Mets have been scoring fine—they’ve hit four or more runs in all three losses during this series. New York has to get the pitching right, though.
