Tricast odds

For the 2023-24 Premier League, bet365 is running a tricast before the start of the season.

This means that to pick a winning selection, you must correctly back which three teams will finish first, second and third in the correct order.

With Manchester City winning the previous three Premier League titles, it is no surprise to see them ending as champions in the top 11 selections in the betting.

Premier League tricast – 2023-24

  • 1st: Manchester City, 2nd: Arsenal, 3rd: Chelsea @ 33/1
  • 1st: Manchester City, 2nd: Chelsea, 3rd: Liverpool @ 66/1

bet365’s tricast market closes when the opening game of the Premier League season – Burnley vs Manchester City – kicks off at 8pm on Friday August 11.

For your punt to be paid out, the sides you have backed must finish in the order you have bet on at the top of the Premier League table.

Where could the value lie in this market?

It is almost impossible to look past Manchester City finishing top in your tricast.

Pep Guardiola’s side won a historic treble last campaign and do not look like slowing down this season. While they may have lost skipper Ilkay Gundogan, the Light Blues are still the favourites for the Premier League title and if they clinch it that will make it four in a row, and six in seven terms.

So the bigger question is who will finish second and third behind them. Last term it was Arsenal who seriously challenged the Light Blues, and actually topped the table for most of the campaign.

While the Gunners have spent big on Declan Rice and Kai Havertz, they have Champions League football to contend with this time, placing further strain on their resources. Even so, they should finish in the top three.

Manchester United, who finished third last season, have also strengthened their squad but the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool look likely to mount more of a challenge for the Champions League places in 2023-24.

A top-three finish may be too much to ask for in Mauricio Pochettino’s first season at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea finished 31 points behind United last season, while Liverpool look set for another term of transition with a major midfield overhaul.

For that reason, the option of Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United at 20/1 appeals. Like the Gunners, the Red Devils have bolstered their squad significantly and look well placed for another respectable campaign under Erik ten Hag.
