Manchester City vs Newcastle United: Man City to win (4/9)
Newcastle United fans enjoyed their first trip to Wembley since 1999 last weekend.
The day ultimately ended in disappointment, though, as Eddie Howe’s side suffered a 2-0 defeat by Manchester United in the final of the EFL Cup.
Newcastle will hope to bounce back quickly from that setback, but the Premier League fixture computer has not been kind with their first opponent since the trip to London.
Even before the loss to Manchester United, Newcastle had been faltering. They have won just one of their last seven Premier League fixtures, a run which has seen them drop out of the top four.
A third defeat of the top-flight campaign could be on the cards in the early kick-off on Saturday.
Manchester City have found form again and will be keen to close the gap at the top of the table to two points after Arsenal’s confident triumph over Everton in midweek.

Chelsea vs Leeds United: Under 2.5 goals (10/11)
Chelsea appointed Graham Potter in September because they felt he was the best man to lead their long-term project under Todd Boehly.
But football is a results business and another adverse one this weekend could spell the end for Potter after just six months at the helm.
Chelsea are on a dismal run of form. They have won just one of their last 11 matches in all competitions, and have lost each of their last three games without scoring a goal.
Putting the ball in the back of the net has been a problem throughout Potter’s tenure. At first Chelsea were struggling to convert their chances. Of late, though, they are not even creating much.
That trend is likely to continue this weekend. Leeds United picked up a crucial victory over Southampton last time out, and they will look to frustrate and spoil at Stamford Bridge.
This is unlikely to be an entertaining, high-scoring encounter.

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace: Draw at half-time (21/20)
No team in the Premier League is on a longer winless streak than Crystal Palace, who have not emerged victorious in any of their eight fixtures in 2023.
It has not all been bad for Patrick Vieira’s side this year, however. Palace have only lost one of their last six games, with last weekend’s clash with Liverpool one of five draws in that time.
The Eagles are struggling to score goals, particularly without their talismanic forward Wilfried Zaha.
But they are at least keeping things reasonably tight at the back, which is why there is unlikely to be much between them and Villa on Saturday.
The scores have been level at half-time in 14 of Palace’s 24 games to date, the highest such figure in the division.

However, the Reds will no doubt raise their game for the visit of their arch-rivals on Sunday.
And despite their struggles, Jurgen Klopp’s side are still tough to beat at Anfield. Only one of their 17 home matches in all competitions has ended in defeat this term.
In the Premier League, only the current top three have amassed more points when playing in front of their own fans.
Liverpool will give this a good go, then, but their somewhat shaky backline will struggle to shut out Marcus Rashford and co.

Arsenal vs Bournemouth: Arsenal/Arsenal half-time/full-time (8/11)
For 40 minutes on Wednesday night, Everton successfully held Arsenal at bay.
The Premier League leaders were unable to find their rhythm for much of the first half, but Bukayo Saka’s goal in the 40th minute sparked them into life.
For the rest of the match Arsenal were irresistible. They ran out 4-0 winners in the end, extending their lead at the summit of the standings to five points.
It is hard to see anything other than another convincing home win when Arsenal welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The Cherries have won just one of their 11 games since the World Cup, leaving them in relegation trouble.
This could be a long, hard afternoon for Gary O’Neil’s charges, with Arsenal set to march on.
