Proxy breaks through in Clark; ‘sick’ Rich Strike is last

Proxy won the Clark at Churchill Downs in the final Grade 1 race of the year. Rich Strike finished last in a field of six. Godolphin won its second consecutive Clark after Maxfield's victory last year and returned $7.08 on a $2 win bet. Trademark was scratched Saturday morning. The next Grade One race at Gulfstream Park is worth $3 million in January. It's a race that connections for both horses have targeted.
