Rose Namajunas was in possession of the UFC Women’s Strawweight title on two occasions. Her record is 11-6 with wins over who’s who of the 115lb division. However, she lost her last two fights.

It sounds bad, but the first of those losses happened in the title fight against Carla Esparza, who beat her by a split decision. The other loss happened in Thug’s flyweight debut, in which she lost to French fighter Manon Fiorot at UFC Paris by unanimous decision.

What’s interesting is that Fiorot had only two significant strikes more than her, with neither of them recording a knockdown, takedown, or submission attempt. Plus, Namajunas picked up an injury early on in the fight.
