Road to Kentucky Derby: Good Magic wins Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland

Good Magic won the Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland. Flameaway finished second and will have a spot in the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. Free Drop Billy came third and is likely to qualify for the Derby. Sporting Chance finished fourth.  Arawak finished last in a 14-horse field. The race was won by Jose Ortiz. He was riding Good Magic. Good magic was the Eclipse Award winner for 2-year-old male. Mark Casse trained the 2016 2/3 champion Classic Empire. It's one thing to train a champion and another to be a champ. They both won their races.
