Rory Sutherland: Scotland and Lions front-row joins Ulster

Rory Sutherland joins Ulster on a short-term deal. His former club, Worcester Warriors, went bankrupt and all their players' contracts were terminated.

Rory Sutherland has joined Ulster on a free transfer from Worcester Warriors. The 28-year-old has played 20 times for Scotland and two times with the Lions. Ulster head coach Dan McFarland is excited about his arrival. Another unnamed prop is also close to signing a three- year deal with Ulster. The deal will be announced after the Rugby World Cup in France. It will help develop the young Irish-qualified props. They will play for Ulster in the United Rugby Championship. A third player is close too. He will join Ulster next season on three years' contract.
